Caroline Beetz Fenske has a PhD in economics from Northeastern University, a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Connecticut, and a Professional Certificate in Editing from the University of California, Berkeley.
Caroline has her own company, EconWriter, where she is a freelance economics researcher, writer, and consultant. Formerly, Caroline Beetz Fenske was an economist with the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, D.C., where she worked on improving economic and social conditions in Latin American and Caribbean countries. Prior to that, she worked for Hewlett Packard in marketing and finance, with responsibility for business forecasting and analysis of economic and computer industry trends.
She has taught economics courses at Bentley University and Northeastern University. Also, Caroline was a visiting faculty member with the University of Pittsburgh’s Semester at Sea program.
Caroline Beetz Fenske’s research and publications have focused on economic development, international trade, trade agreements, country-wide studies, technological innovation, and labor markets.
